Cockatoo Creek Veterinary Clinic is excited and proud to serve its local community by providing the best in veterinary care to its companion and production animals. Cockatoo Creek was the original name for Cockatoo and represents the river that runs through this beautiful town, hence we felt it important to acknowledge the name to which is historically was called. 


Cockatoo Creek Veterinary Clinic is a mixed practise and runs by appointment only with daily consultations, surgical procedures and if required home and farm calls. We offer health checks, vaccinations, parasite treatment, medical workups and surgical procedures, radiology, ultrasonography, dentistry, hospitilisation, critical care and euthanasias. We also provide house and farm calls to attend to all animals. We have the latest equipment to ensure your pet receives only the best.


Cockatoo Creek Veterinary Clinic can provide specialist ultrasonography, echocardiography and professional orthopaedic surgeries like fracture repairs, femoral head and neck excisions and TPLO cruciate surgery techniques. We believe in having the best techniques available as this is crucial to the best possible outcomes for our pets. We also envision kitten adoption and puppy school in the near future.


Large Animals
Our large animal services include but are not limited to – 

Horses (Equine) 

Health checks and various medical condition workup, vaccinations, colic treatment and workups, retained foetal membrane attendance, wound repairs, faecal egg counts, disease control and testing (eg/ strangles), lameness workups, skin issues etc.

Cattle (Bovine) 

Health checks, calvings, vaginal / uterine prolapse assessment and treatment, down cows, bloats, mastitis and metritis diagnosis and treatments, lamenesses, dietary investigations, eye infection treatments, drenching etc.

Sheep (Ovine) 

Health checks, drenching, parasite control, lambings, mastitis treatment, nutritional workups, bloats, pregnancy toxaemia, hoof trimming etc.

Goats (Caprine) 

As per ovine but also worm control assessments.

Cockatoo Creek Veterinary Clinic works with Afterpay, Vetpay and ZipPay providers to ensure every animal in every situation gets the care they deserve.
We feel it is important to offer this option for those clients in times of need.

We also offer information in insurance for your pet and have researched the many differences between every policy so we can brief our clients that are interested.
